Her Golden Touch release day

Today marks the release of HER GOLDEN TOUCH, the second in my medieval romance series: Heart of Gold.

Once again, the news is grim and important so self-promoting is a little… wrong. But I believe in Love Africa Press and they deserve to get a return.

Upon returning home to Marrakech from the Hajj, Malik promises his mother that he is ready to marry. But when his friend’s little sister turns out to be the proud beauty he helped in the market, he blurts out the truth.

Kinti agrees, only to be a spy for her mentor in the underground movement. She wants to find out where Malik ibn Nusair is sending disappearing slaves.

But Malik has more secrets. Secrets he cannot share with a fake fiancée. Only a real one. And Kinti cannot match this sweet man with his reputation or stop herself from wanting to be the reason he is happy.

If everyone is using everyone, why is Kinti the one feeling guilty? If it’s all pretend, why is Malik desperate for her to see the truth?

I strive for historical and cultural accuracy so these books do feature slavery. The point is to emphasise the similarities between the medieval Arabic slavery system and modern breadline workforces. I am not saying slavery is good, people of goodreads, I am saying the current system is bad and people have always ignored it for their own convenience. Of course, I did write this before +gestures at date+.

I’m hopeful you’ll find escape in these pages. And remember, LoveAfricaPress 7s only publishing me until we find an #OwnVoices medieval romance author. I want to be supplanted!
